PBSP Welcomes PASAR Corporation
The PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATED SMELTING AND REFINING CORPORATION (PASAR), the only copper smelter and refinery in the Philippines, located in the Leyte Industrial Development Estate (LIDE) in Isabel, Leyte, is the newest member company of the Philippiine Business for Social Progress. PASAR Corporation is represented by Mr. Ricardo G. Santiago, PASAR Senior Vice President.
They signed their Statement of Commitment to PBSP last March 10, 2006. The entry of PASAR to the roster of PBSP Member Companies makes the total number of PBSP Visayas-based Member Companies to 42!
